This is a slow, time-honored method of extracting the medicinal properties of the plant. This allows the beneficial chemical compounds from the botanical/herb to extract/infuse into the oil. All oils are certified organic cold-pressed and unrefined in order to provide the most nutrients for your skin. All botanicals used in our salves/herbal oils are homegrown on our property and/or from wild foraging deep in the mountains in northern Maine.
